Our ergonomic team designed and built this custom vacuum tool to simultaneously grip and lift four 95-pound boxes for palletizing. The tool features a powder coated steel and aluminum frame, 16 vacuum cups (4 per box), Delrin vacuum cup alignment and locator guides, vacuum indicator gauge, ergonomic high/low handlebars with 18-inches of vertical travel, grip/release controls, proportional up/down controls, and float mode. The tool is integrated with a Gorbel Easy Arm and G-Force Smart Hoist using our gripper safety circuit to prevent accidental release of the boxes in midair.
