On my return journey from Preston to Edinburgh I travelled with TRANSPENNINE Express first class.

I was hoping to be able to try out on of the TPE Nova 1 trains (The new Class 802) - so I was quite excited as i waited.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be an old train. Actually not even one belonging to Transpennine Express.

My opinion is that it's not up to much. I hope the experience on the new Nova 1 trains will be better and I look forward to doing a trip on one of those later.
