Cities in Albania such as Tirana and Durrës defintely need to go on your travel bucket list! I was fortunate to be able to visit in October 2022 and I had a great time.

There is so much to see and do in the city of Tirana, a modern capital city that also offers nature in the form of mountains and parks, along with a rich history which is on display in various museums throughout the city. You can also visit the Adriatic coast and enjoy at day in the beach in coastal towns such as Durrës.

Albania is generally quite affordable, you can eat out for much less than you would in Western Europe and it is also quite cheap to get around, whether by bus or taxi.
