Mount Augustus WA The World's Biggest Rock & the Kennedy Ranges, neither of which I had any knowledge of prior to this visit. It came as a delightful surprise to learn that I was only a few hundred kilometers from the world's biggest monolith (rock).

From Gascoyne Junction the trip is all dirt road, but no problem for those with a four wheel drive. Towing a caravan, was fine, however, dust prevention is a critical isse if not sorted prior to this trip.

The escarpments found at the Kennedy ranges were breathtaking and the aboriginal drawings at Mt Augustus were a real treat, very spiritual.
