Non-WWW to WWW Redirects In WordPress - Change URL Subdomain In WordPress| WP Learning Lab
In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to make your website resolve in a browser as www.yourdomain.com or just yourdomain.com. It's really easy and you can do it via your WordPress admin panel.
So let's get into how to redirect non-www to www version of your domain name.
First log into your WordPress admin area. Then hover over Settings in the left hand menu and then click on General.
The third and fourth fields on the General Settings pages are:
1. WordPress Address (URL)
2. Site Address (URL)
These are more often than not the same URL so both fields contain the same information.
You will see your domain in the fields as either [ Ссылка ] or [ Ссылка ].
Which ever one is the field is how your website will resolve in a browser. To change from one to the other simply enter www into the domain name or take it out and then Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
You will be logged out. After you refresh the page you will see the change reflected in the URL field of the browser. That's all there is to this domain redirect, subdomain redirect or URL redirect, however you want to call it.
