I wrapped my entire truck with Christmas lights! It took just under four hours to put the lights on and right at a hour and a half to take them off. The lights are normal LED string lights we got from Lowe's. The lights are held on with painters tape. We put a piece of tape about every four inches and this seemed to work well as none of the lights came loose and they did not scratch the vehicle. To run the whole set up I pulled the battery our of the boat and used a power inverter to run the lights off the battery. While this did not scratch our vehicle we can not guarantee it will not scratch yours. We wrapped a white Ram 1500. With the truck being white it does not show scratches very much. During our quick inspection when the lights were taken off no scratches were found. All links to the products used will be listed below if links can be found.
