EMS training has been around for well over 15 years globally, but it was only approved for fitness use in the U.S. in 2019, making it fairly new here.
My first EMS experience was in South Korea in 2015 at a friend's gym. As a trainer, I instantly loved it. The workout left me feeling incredibly worked and amazing. Even a 16-hour flight the next day couldn’t change that. Once EMS was available in the U.S., I bought a device and transitioned all my training to EMS. I've used it for maintenance, weight gain, fat loss, strength improvement, and boosting my vertical jump.
The shorter workout time is great, but the best part is the post-workout feeling: incredible muscle fatigue without the joint pain from weight training.
