Frost Mortar kinda overrated ngl
This is a modified 3-tower solo fallen strat by @SebasDark25 . I changed it up a little to meet the requirements to beat a 3-star map instead of honey valley, but the bare bones of the strategies are the same.
Loadout: (military base, trapper, ranger, minigunner, mortar)
Consumables: (Molotov, any, any, any)
Strat:
Place 5 lvl 3 mili bases, 1 by 1
place 2 lvl 2 trappers (set to spikes)
use molotov on necro summons after it passes the first area
get 5 lvl 4 mili bases
set trappers to landmines and set to strongest on wave 18
switch back to spikes and first after wave 19
get 7 lvl 3 trappers, set to landmines and strongest
max mili bases
place 7 lvl 2 rangers
max trappers
place 6 max minigunners
get 7 lvl 3 rangers
get 4 lvl 4 mortars
max rangers
max mortars
spam and micro max minigunners
Possible Problems:
yes, setting trapper targeting priority does help.
Use airstrike ability on crowds, flying enemies (before placing ranger), and any tough enemies (Summoner, honor guard, guardians, king).
SAVE AIRSTRIKE FOR WAVE 39 AND USE TO KILL THE JESTERS THE MOMENT THEY SPAWN, IF A SINGLE GUARDIAN GETS BUFFED YOU WILL LOSE.
micro means selling and replacing a tower when they get out of range, stunned, or for any other reason.
Minigunner can be swapped for most other dps options besides gatling and brawler. Engineer, Accel, Pursuit, and G Mini all work.
use a minigunner skin that's easy to tell when its maxed, such as roadrage, trucker, fallen, Sweaking, golden, pumpkin, or party. This helps with microing as you'll be able to see which minigunners to upgrade easier.
I recommend finding a team to play this mission, especially for mobile players as microing can be hard on mobile. That and these runs require hella RNG from Jester, Templar, King, Honor Guard, and Guardian attacks. It would just be easier to find a party.
*NST (No-special-tower) runs are matches played with towers available up to the point that the run can be done, since fallen mode is unlockable at level 30, crook boss is allowed during NST fallen runs, Hardcore allows turret since its unlocked at level 50, so on and so forth. Golden, Event, and Hardcore towers are all prohibited during NST runs. However, since the quest requires you to use the mortar tower (unlocked level 75), this is technically a semi-NST, but since the other towers used are coin unlocks, I'm still counting it as an NST run.
