Hi, this video we'll talk about the core difference between the 3 main type of durians in Malaysia - Musang King (猫王), Black Thorn (Ochee) and D24 (or other durians under the D24 family). Specifically, how you can choose between all these durian for the ideal one, and probably save some money and avoid getting a D24 durian that's claimed to be Musang King.
We'll first explore the exterior difference - the bottom of durian, the spike of durian and the ring of the durian.
Then, we'll look at the durian's taste so that you can differentiate the durian's easily.
Lastly, we'll also talk about something that's not very much known - yet very helpful - knocking your durian for a moist-er taste.
Black thorn is a relatively new breed - presently (at this point of filming) the most expensive breed here in Malaysia because of its unique taste.
