We recommend using Castrol Power1 SAE 5W-40 Full Synthetic 4T motorcycle oil.
Also recommend using a K&N Motorcycle Oil Filter: Fits Select Piaggio Vehicles, KN-183. This filter can be easily tightened and loosened utilizing a 17mm wrench.

Tools needed for this change:
24mm wrench for the oil drain plug
needle nose pliers
17mm wrench for the KN-183 oil filter
adjustable wrench if necessary to help remove any type of oil filter.
Measuring container
Oil pan
funnel
rags
container for properly disposing of the used motor oil.
