The Book of Boba Fett has arrived and I have my review and recap as a mega Star Wars and Boba Fett fan. I fully intended to get this out Monday but a major winter storm knocked out power for a few days. At least I made it on the day Chapter two was released, right? At any rate, Stranger in a Strange land (Chapter One) gets us off to a slow start. It wasn't a horrible start, as you will see in my review and recap, but there are issues. The biggest issue is this Boba Fett is nowhere near the same that we got in The Mandalorian where he was a straight up bad ass. Disney and Robert Rodriguez seem to be erring on caution with this series and I don't know why. Star Wars has always been gritty, and this lacks that grit. The timeline is also a huge issue, and I'll jump into that in the second half of the video.
