Officers in high speed pursuit with a dangerous driver witness the car dangerously topple over. With tasers drawn, they yell for the suspect to get on the ground. Elsewhere, cops conduct an undercover sting to bust sex workers and the men seeking them out. A suspect attempts to flee from police but the K9 police dogs lead officers right to the suspect.
Real-life officers are followed by a camera crew, cinéma-vérité style, in a gritty up-close look at police work and the consequences of crime. It spawned a number of police-reality imitators.
