Great Strong Colors with a Nice Glittery Effect

I love gel pens in general - they glide smoothly and create a full ink impression on the page. These Ooly glitter gel pens add the delight of a glittery look to them. It is definitely a glitter that you can see as the light hits a page from various angles.

I like to use these for journaling. They also do great when drawing or sketching, especially cards for children. The colors really pop off the page and are quite rich.

Sometimes the gel pens are a bit slow to start when you first open them up, but you just need to wriggle them around on the page for them to get going. And then they're fine for the drawing project.

It's a shame you can't easily buy just one color. If you happen to adore gold, for example, and use up all of the gold, you generally have to then buy an entire other set to get more. So maybe it's useful to hook up with other crafter friends, so you can share them around. Or think up projects that use up your 'less often used' colors. Gel pens, while wonderful, generally do not have infinite lives, so I try to use them fairly often before they eventually dry out.
