The keys that are properly orientated have an uneven and harsh plastic sounding bottom out, while the keys that are on backwards have their intended bottom sound. This is due to the North-facing orientation of my switches (orientation is north if the contact pins are closer to the space bar) and is most prominent on the home row; although, it is still a minor problem on all except the tallest keys.
I just wanted to share as I’m new to the hobby and this information didn’t seem readily available when buying high end cherry profile keycaps.
TL;DR - $40 PCB with north facing switch holes + $100 Cherry profile keycaps = sad home row / bottom out noise.
