Watch as Parents Magazine interviews a mom on what it's like to have a daughter living with Spina Bifida. The mother states that although many parents will receive a lot of scary medical information prior to the baby being born, it seems much worse than the situation actually turns out to be. The mom says that the new normal in her life has become changing the family schedule to accommodate physical therapy, surgery, and doctor appointments. She states that the most important thing to remember is that children with Spina Bifida are just like any other kid.
