In this webinar, Mark Humphris (Countdown project leader) and Brian Corr (Dairy farm manager at Poowong) will discuss the use of antibiotics at drying off, how to reduce risks and save money through selective dry cow therapy – both in theory and practically on farm.
This is in the global context of how farmers can be a part of stopping the rise of “superbugs” resistant to antibiotics, as well as saving money by being smarter with their antibiotic use by both using less and reducing reinfection.
Experts:
Dr. Mark Humphris – Dairy vet and consultant, Countdown project leader
Brian Corr – Dairy farm manager in Gippsland
