Ducati Desert X Extreme Rear Shock@[ Ссылка ]
Rider reports are in, and we're hearing reviews from Desert X owners that their factory suspension is not up to the job of true adventure motorcycling.
The OEM ride is comfortable and plush on the streets, but as soon as the tires leave the asphalt, factory Ducati shocks and forks are incorrectly sprung and far too plush; bottoming out under a fully geared adventure rider on even minor whoops and bumps. In order to improve on the shortcomings of factory suspension and prepare our customers for adventure touring, Touratech is proud to offer our flagship suspension option, the extreme rear shock.
Installation of the Extreme Shock is pretty straight forward, but this video will walk you through it and give you tips, tricks and tool recommendations.
The Touratech Extreme Shock has advanced technology to make bottoming out a thing of the past. This shock has a secondary compression damper that goes into action when your shock approaches the end of its stroke.
Combine this PDS “bottoming control technology” with a remote reservoir, fully adjustable high-speed and low-speed compression damping, adjustable rebound damping, high-flow fittings, low friction seals and 50% more preload adjustment than other shocks on the market and you begin to see why this is the shock of choice for Ducati riders who want more off road performance and durability than their OEM shock.
