Large or fullsize utes have become an increasingly popular addition to Australian roads in the last few years, famous for their hefty towing capacities and their equally hefty price tags.
But with midsize utes becoming so capable, the question must be asked: is it worth opting for a fullsize ute in the modern day?
To find out, production specialist Tom Place has pit two utes from the same manufacturer against each other in the Ford Ranger and F-150 to find out if the Blue Oval’s big rig can justify its enormous $60k price hike.
