IG Sindh/Consul General/China/Meeting
Karachi, September 20, 2024:

IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon met with the Consul General of China, Yang Yun Dong. The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest, including the security situation and police measures.
The meeting, held at the Central Police Office Karachi, was attended by the Karachi Police Chief, DIG Security and Emergency Divisions, Establishment, RRF, and other police officials.
The Consul General of China invited IG Sindh to participate in the National Day celebration of China.
Both Pakistan and China are committed to working on CPEC, stated the Consul General.
The security measures for Chinese nationals by Sindh Police are satisfactory, the Consul General said.
Chinese businessmen are interested in investing in Sindh, particularly in Karachi, the Consul General noted.
The formation of a separate force for the security of Chinese nationals by Sindh Police is highly commendable, the Consul General added.
The friendship between Pakistan and China is invaluable and unparalleled, stated the Consul General.
Confidence in security arrangements strengthens our commitment, said IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon.
More personnel will soon be assigned to the security of Chinese nationals at the disposal of the SPU, IG Sindh stated.
Sindh is a very safe province for the Chinese, said Ghulam Nabi Memon.
The number of police personnel regarding security will gradually increase, said IG Sindh.
We will do everything to provide our Chinese brothers with a safe and peaceful environment, said IG Sindh.
