The theme, "Year of the Snake, Keep Your Spirits Awake!", aligns with the lunar calendar's 60-year cycle. The gala's logo is inspired by the oracle bone script, featuring an ancient form of the character "si" shaped like a snake. This symmetrical design, which forms an infinite pattern, symbolizes good luck and longevity, echoing the traditional ruyi pattern. The event, a fixture of Lunar New Year celebrations since 1983, will be broadcast on January 28, 2025, bringing songs, dance, and performances to audiences worldwide.
