Best Pirate Ship Day Ever 1298

Nothing like waking up on a family vacation and making a fort with Adley and Niko!! The kiddos make a huge fort right in our room, and its really nice. We get a new house tour before we decide that we are hungry and want to get breakfast. We jump in our golf cart (that's how you get around in this area of Belize) and go on an adventure to find food.

After we eat, Adley finds some baby coconuts growing on the beach. We want to try and find fish, so we walk along the water, till we find a dock. Walking on the dock we can see how clear and beautiful the water is. It makes it super easy to find fish. We find something the looks like a baby sword fish and while we are walking a sting ray swims right underneath us! It was soo cool.

Seeing how beautiful the water is, we decide that we want to get in. So we head to a place called secret beach! Adley helps me drive the golf cart as we go exploring the island. Once we find it, this place is amazing. White soft sand and picnic tables out in the water. So you can eat while you swim!! Adley and Niko get their floaties on, cause we have to be safe no matter what and into the water we go.

We find a floating bounce house that is super fun. Adley and Niko battle each other for king of the floaty before we find the coolest thing ever... A boat with a slide on it. It's going to be our pirate ship!! The family jumps on, we start sailing around, going down the slippery slide, and doing cool tricks into the water.

This is a blast and we are making so many amazing memories. After tons of fun, its time for a quick lunch break. While we eat, we check in with Navey who is going on an aquarium adventure. She sees ducks and turtles and feeds chickens and a big farm pig. She even touches a lizard. She is so cute and we are happy she is having fun back home.

Adley and Niko have started their very own beach hair salon and spa. The kiddos decide that I am their very first costumer, so the are rubbing mud and rocks on my back, stomach and face. It feels kinda good and really nice when we rinse it all off. While I'm getting a spa day from the kiddos, Jenny is getting her hair done in an awesome pirate style. Adley and I want to get it done too!

After a super fun day on the beach (we also found that the beach as tons of baby crabs all over) we head back to our place. Niko Bear is tired so we do his bed time routine quick, then play some games with my dad and Adley before we make some plans for what adventures we are doing tomorrow.
