Traveled from Long Island to Central New Jersey on November 27th 2016 with my friend to try some NJ surf fishing for the first time. We ended up finding an area being worked by a whole bunch of birds and then got on to some fish. The birds and stripers were feeding on schools of peanut bunker also known as juvenile menhaden.
Around 3:57 you see stripers come into view about 5-10 feet off shore herding and eating schools of peanuts. They literally surf the waves in.
