An inspirational opportunity for guests to engage and learn about bottlenose dolphins. Sitting in waist-high water in the dolphins’ environment, you will have the chance to develop a once-in-a-lifetime, personal connection, face-to-face. The sounds you will hear are called vocalizations. The excitement in the swims and jumps are natural behaviors like playing. Dolphin Cay is a world renowned dolphin and sea lion habitat that opened in 2006 in time to provide a safe haven for 17 stranded dolphins and 10 sea lions whose home was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
Every visit to Dolphin Cay supports the Atlantis Blue Project Foundation, creating and promoting solutions for a wide range of marine conservation challenges from coral reef degradation to marine species in decline.
