Meaning of the Mantra:
Shri Vishnu dwells on the mouth of the Kalasha, and Shri Rudra(Shiva) dwells on its neck,
Shri Brahma resides on its base, and the group of divine Mothers on its center,
on its interior are dwelling the seven seas and the sacred earth.
Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and Atharvaveda,
along with all their branches dwell inside the water of the Kalasha,
May Goddess Gayatri, Savitri, Shanti and Pushtikari come here
to remove all evil influences which lead to destruction.
O holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari, Saraswati,
Narmada, Sindhu and Kaveri; Please be present in this water and make it holy.
