X-Men Origins: Deadpool 1
This is the origin of Deadpool retold. Oneshot. “From Russia With Love Movie Poster Homage” You can still find it NM for under $25 but you might have to search a little. I found three copies on eBay at the time of making this video, this also could possibly be a back issue bin find.
Rocket Racoon 1
This is his first solo title series, you can find many copies in NM for under $20. Nothing too special about events in this issue but I think Rocket Racoon has a bright future. Originally he was intended to be more of the standout character from Guardians of the Galaxy but Groot kind of stole his thunder. He may gain it back!
JSA All Stars #4
Star Spangled Kid becomes Stargirl, so it’s the first Courtney Whitmore as Stargirl. Still find for under $25 in NM. The money book on this is the newsstand edition, which looks very similar to the direct edition. So look for that newsstand listed at direct price and you could make a quick flip.
Uncanny X-men 164
1st appearance of Carol Danvers as Binary and Origin. This one you might have to look a bit but you can easily find for under $25 in NM. You can even find a CGC 9.6 for around $50. Super cool cover. Newsstands and Direct are plentiful, no premium on newsstands so you might as well go for one of those.
X-Men 4
First Appearance of Omega Red. You can still find this for $25 or under. There are lots of newsstands out there, which fetch a pretty premium in high grade and there’s the potential for seller not to know about this. Rumors keep surfacing that he will be in an upcoming movie but there is no hard proof yet which means its the prefect time to buy in. Worst case scenario, it’s still a key issue!
