Corteva Agriscience’s National Industry Relationship Manager and Area Manager for Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Hertfordshire, Sarah Hurry, conducts a tour of a fungicide trial in winter wheat in Hawstead, Suffolk in 2021.
In the tour we see that the untreated wheat is suffering from very high levels of septoria, which will damage the plant and significantly impact yield. Sarah then goes on to show what a plot looks like that has been treated with Ascra® Xpro at 1L/ha on 28 April, followed by Revystar® XE at 1L/ha on 31 May. Finally, we see the protection against key diseases offered by Univoq™, which was applied on 31 May following Ascra® Xpro at 1L/ha on 28 April.
Univoq™ is a new fungicide for the control of Septoria tritici, brown rust, yellow rust, powdery mildew, Fusarium head blight and tan spot in wheat, durum wheat, rye, triticale, and spelt. Univoq is broad-spectrum fungicide containing Fenpicoxamid, more commonly known as Inatreq™ active, and prothioconazole.
Inatreq active offers a new and unique site of action for curative and persistent protection against all Septoria strains. Using Corteva’s patented i-Q4™ technology, it provides near 100% leaf coverage and is highly flexible in application, delivering robust protection so you can secure your yield and the future of your farm.
