A war of words has erupted between a British band and New Zealand’s Deputy Prime Minister.

It comes after NZ’s Deputy PM Winston Peters played a song by the band ‘Chumbawamba’.

The song is believed to be ‘Tubthumping’.

Reportedly, Mr Peters has played the 1997 hit at several of his rallies while walking on and off stage.

However, the music group disbanded in 2012.
