Rey Ordonez may have made some unbelievable double plays with the New York Mets, but this double play turned by Dick Schofield and Jeff Kent with Doc Gooden pitching has to be up there with greatest Mets double plays because Schofield flips the baseball to Jeff Kent from behind his back running away from second base, and Kent throws on to Eddie Murray at first base to get Darrin Fletcher of the Montreal Expos! I bet Dwight Gooden was glad that he didn't field the ball with his bare hand! Kent is wearing number 39 before he switched to number 12 with the Mets, and then 21 with the San Francisco Giants!
