How to reach -

By Car -
Mousuni Island is 120 Kms from Kolkata which takes approx 3 to 4 hours to reach. We went by car taking the Baruipur Amtala Road. After crossing the Namkhana Bridge we reached Patibunia Ghat after 30 minutes. Then we took a boat to cross the river which costed Rs. 10/- per head and then a toto to reach our pre-booked camp site which costed Rs. 25/- per head.
You can also choose train or bus route.

Mousuni Island by Train -
Take a train from Sealdah station to Namkhana and then take a toto or van to Hatania Datania River. After crossing the River take another Toto either to Hujuter Kheya Ghat (Via 14.4 Km) or Patibunia Ferry Ghat (via 16 Km) from there take another toto to your pre-booked campsite.

The best time to visit - October to mid-April, avoid visiting during the monsoon season.
