Prof. Ahsan Syed was born and raised in Hyderabad , India (Son of Late Dr. Syed Abul Fazl, Professor of Arabic, Osmania University ). He received his engineering degree from Osmania University and also "Adeeb-e-Kamil" (M.A.) from Aligarh Muslim University. He has a deep passion for Urdu literature.
