Come trace together an onsite visit to all the places where the Ark of the Covenant was captured by the Philistines, starting with ancient Shiloh (Based on the biblical account in 1 Samuel 5-7). Many of the sites are challenging to access, either because they are overgrown with weeds (especially after Covid and lack of maintenance), or only accessible by farm tracks for 4x4. In addition, the missile attacks from Gaza in 2021 prevented me from accessing these places, for a time. An explanation of the "tumors" (ophalim = אפלים) which afflicted the Philistines, is also offered (See also Deut 28:27 where the same word אפלים ("tumors") in English is listed as one of the curses of skin conditions on the Egyptians).
