This is a simple activity for my Kindergarten and Adaptive classes to learn how to use paintbrushes. Students are going to practice thick and thin lines with markers, then add large circles on their papers after reading the book, "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds.
Finally, they will use the water technique with markers to "wake up" the colors. This can easily be done using water soluble oil pastels as well as paints.
