I go on hiking in the bush or hunting in the forest. Sometimes, I have to cross streams, wade through puddles, & end up with wet soggy socks & feet. If it is cold & wet, that is miserable.

Both these manufacturers, make a wide range of socks that are tailored for a different weather (i.e. warm to cold weather).
In this video, I test the 5 socks I have by immersing the socks in a bowl of water, & checking to see if the paper-towel inside the sock becomes wet.
I will continue to use these waterproof, breathable socks as they are very comfortable & keep my feet dry. You may find them useful for your own hiking & hunting as well.
