Last night's full Moon and high tides must have triggered a Sea Hare (Aplysia punctata) mating event. The dark blobs in this rockpool are all Sea Hares (a type of marine snail) - I counted more than 50 with hundreds on the shore all around this area. County Clare, Ireland.
