On April 18, 2013, Quinnipiac University's School of Business along with the Department of International Business, hosted a Symposium on China entitled "A Resurgent China in the 21st Century." Erik Conqvist, Director, US China Center at Central Connecticut State University, presented the keynote lecture "Soft Power-China In the Age of Persuasion"
