Shrimp and crab toast! 🦐🦀🍞
I’ve only ever had this at Vietnamese restaurants and bakeries and it’s always the perfect little bite. It’s crispy, creamy, cheesy, and so addicting 🤤
Recipe: Shrimp & Crab Toast
Servings— 10 to 12
- [ ] 1/2 lb shrimp, deveined, smashed, cut into 1/4 inch chunks
- [ ] 10 imitation crab sticks, shredded
- [ ] 1 cup shredded cheese, I used Mexican blend
- [ ] 3/4 cup kewpie mayo
- [ ] 2-3 tbsp sriracha, or to taste
- [ ] 1 tsp sugar
- [ ] 1 tsp sesame oil
- [ ] 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- [ ] Black pepper, to taste
- [ ] 2 Green onions stalks, sliced
- [ ] French baguette, cut on a bias in 1/2 inch thick slices
1. In a large bowl mix together, shrimp, imitation crab, cheese, kewpie mayo, sriracha, sugar, sesame oil, salt, black peppers and green onions. Mix well.
2. Slice baguette into 1/2 in slices. Spoon about 1 1/2- 2 tablespoons of shrimp and crab mixture. Spread evenly.
3. Air fry baguettes at 300F for 6 mins or bake at 375F for 10-12 mins or until lightly golden and shrimp is cooked through. Serve while warm and enjoy!
