This season crop has very less risk of biotic stresses and mostly escapes the insect and disease attack. Early March planted sesame TH-6, a single stemmed, early maturing variety may mature at the end of June just before the onset of monsoon rains. However, end March planted crop is likely to mature during the month of July. In addition to its feasibility as spring crop, its production technology has also briefly been mentioned in this video.
