Good morning Beloveds.
From my heart to your heart I wish us well.

On this morning that we call Easter I am musing on it’s origins, Austrō/Ēostre/Ôstara “Goddess of the Dawn”, bringer of new life and fertility…and of course the symbolism of the resurrection of the “Christ Light/Christ Consciousness”…I pray that this is a fertile time for all of us to find that new light, uncover that pure light as we plant those new seeds in this fertile ground of being and unknowing…

This chant I sung today to share came to me recently in potent personal time in Joshua Tree…I spent a good time talking to this certain Joshua Tree where I was staying asking it about itself and musing on how it got that particular name Joshua/Yeshua which led me to thinking about the hebrew name Yahoshua (perhaps translated as Salvation of G*d), and I started playing with singing Yahoshua and adding “Chai” (Life in hebrew) …I sang this chant around the Tree for at least an hour and got into a deep space…the “Yes you are a way, a Beauty Way” lines came at some point in the trance of it…it felt so good.

I kept singing that chant for the 2 weeks almost non stop while I was in the desert…it’s the best of friends…

Nature will always be my Temple, my Church, my World…my coming Home place. It’s how I was raised and it’s how I wish to live and how I wish to die. Close to Nature. Close to the Earth and with all Beings seen and unseen. That is the best of Ways to me.

I sing this simple song in humble respect to the Peoples that lived on this land before our families immigrated here, to all the creatures that call this land Home, to my own ancestors who carried their hopes and dreams and souls to bring me here, to the beautiful earth of California in which I was born and this amazing Earth that I feel so honored to bear witness to, what a CREATION! Mama Mia :)

I sing this simple song and will continue to sing these simple songs in the prayer that I can attune myself to living a good life, a meaningful life, a life of connection, compassion, service, presence and being. May I be strong and clear and not fall into my mind but find the heart of truth.

I pray I and all my fellow humans learn how to better take care of each other and this Earth Ship, knowing it is our very Self and Life.

I know these are potent times.

I know that I shall continue to stumble along the path but I also know and am so deeply grateful that the path is there, the Earth is there, the Sky is there and That, the same Light of Life and Consciousness Illuminates us All.

A Magical Great Mystery Indeed.

Hineyni. Here I Am. Make me useful. Empty me, crack me open, heal me up, do what you Will.
Make me Your instrument, make me Your vessel.
Humbly and so gratefully for this moment and this breath.
