WHAT A RIDE! Today we had such a FUN day exploring El Nido beaches on a scooter! We hired a scooter here in El Nido and visited some magical places on the beautiful island of Palawan. First stop was Lio Beach, a short ride from the centre of El Nido. We had a gorgeous swim and lunch here before moving on to the stunning Nacpan Beach.
Lio Beach and Nacpan Beach are easily accessible by scooter and not too far from El Nido. Lio Beach and Nacpan Beach both have food available, however Lio Beach has a larger range of cafes, which makes it a good option for lunch. At Lio Beach we decided to stop for lunch and chose to eat at Shaka El Nido. Shaka is a vegan/vegetarian café (they also have cafes in Alona Beach, Siargao, and Moalboal). We had an amazing burger, two delicious smoothies, and finished it all of with an absolutely incredible smoothie bowl! Shaka El Nido definitely has some perfect beach/island vibe food. This is our tenth travel vlog from the beautiful Philippines! We've been island hopping all over and have been so lucky to meet such beautiful people. We stayed in Bohol, Apo Island, and Moalboal, before moving on to stay in El Nido and explore the beautiful beaches and island life on Palawan.

We started Beyond Your Doorstep as a way of documenting our travel so that we could look back on it ourselves. We started off posting photos, and then blogging, and now we vlog basically everywhere we go. We know travel is hard, and it's expensive, so we try and keep it as real as possible. Jori works as an engineer and Malika works as a waitress (*it's weird talking in the 3rd person*) 😂We live in a little countryside town in England where we work 9-5 most of the year. We live in a tiny studio apartment and try to keep our costs down as much as possible. We travel whenever we can and edit our vlogs at night and on the weekends. It's a pretty huge workload but we love reliving our adventures as we edit and publish our travel vlogs. We may not be the quintessential digital nomad travel couple, but we love this adventure we're on!
