The Supreme Court will decide how far our free speech rights go on social media and whether social media companies have the right to block, remove or censor our accounts. The justices heard oral arguments this week about whether laws passed in Florida and Texas that prevent social media companies from "censoring" conservative voices online are constitutional. But legal scholars say this case could be the most important 1st Amendment decision in a generation because ultimately the justices will be deciding the scope of all of our free speech rights in this internet era.
