Microsoft has come so far when it comes to the ability to repair their devices. The entire line of the Surface computer was notorious for being nearly impossible to repair, with most repair shops outright refusing them due to the minefield of problems even the simplest jobs would cause. Thankfully the Microsoft Surface design team listened to its users and as of 2019 repair became a main focus on all of their devices. They even began selling parts directly to consumers on their website, something that's still very rare in the tech world. The Surface team deserves credit for this, and I hope this video let's their team know their efforts are appreciated by both consumers and repair shops alike! The more repairable we make technology, the less e-waste is dumped into landfills.
