Runaway is a low budget independent film that comes from the creator of Horizon, one of the most well-regarded Star Trek fan films. In August of 2016, donors on Kickstarter gave over $18,000 on a goal of $13,000. This film could not have been made without their support for indie filmmaking and independent cinema.
