Who makes the best charts ? Sega's developers or the fans ?
In this video we compare the Extreme difficulty for the official chart from Hatsune Miku: Project Diva MEGA39's on Nintendo Switch with a fan made chart from a computer simulator.
My opinion on it : The PPD chart is very good but the official chart has some mistakes. The only thing I can say about the PPD chart is that there is a part at 2:55 that wasn't charted, but this part is off in the official chart so it's actually better.
The part at 0:34 (and the other times it uses this pattern) is off in the official chart but perfect in the PPD chart (read the comments, it's not actually off, but it's not optimal)
The sliders at 2:51 are awful in the official chart.
The official chart is off after 3:36 because they didn't realize that the BPM increases for this part (it goes from 144 to 154 there) but the PPD chart gets it correctly.
The placements on screen are also better in the PPD chart.
Overall, this song has the worst official chart of the new songs from MEGA39's but the PPD chart (which was made in 2018 so way before we knew MEGA39's existed) is very good (but not perfect)
