Leaders of India's opposition coalition and thousands of supporters rallied in the capital, decrying "autocracy"
and protesting the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi's Chief Minister, ahead of the general election.
Kejriwal's arrest in March was linked to corruption allegations, particularly
involving kickbacks in liquor license distribution by his government.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has launched probes into other state chief ministers or their relatives,
many of whom are political opponents of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
This includes the January arrest of Hemant Soren, Chief Minister of Jharkhand, on corruption charges.
