Surgeons at Bryan Health perform about 450 open heart procedures every year. The treatment is one of the most common and effective ways to bypass blockages and get patients back to feeling great.

Gary Abegglen is from Columbus, Nebraska. He had no prior heart trouble and no family history of heart disease. However, earlier this winter, he felt a burning sensation in his chest while snow blowing his drive. The 76 year-old discovered he had three blockages in his heart and needed triple bypass surgery.
