Digital technologies can act on many levels. For example, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence can be used to improve public policies related to the environment and climate change through better management of consumption. The same technology, however, can also contribute to a larger environmental footprint. During this conference we will explore how digital technologies can respond to climate challenges and identify the initiatives that have proven their worth despite the possible threat posed by digital technologies to the environment.
