IWB holsters are shorthand for "inside the waistband," as the holster goes inside the waistband of your pants, jeans or shorts. Typically, a clip of some sort goes over the waistband and belt.
You need to select pants that will accommodate the pistol and the holster. Some people have to wear a size or two up, though your mileage may vary. Some folks find they don't need to size up at all, others do.
To put your concealed carry holster on, you tuck the holster into the waistband and find the appropriate location for the holster to sit. The easiest way is to undo your belt waist tab and hold up your waistband with your weak-side hand. Tuck the holster just behind the point of the hip, so your gun should be somewhere between your hip bone and your wallet.
After you slide your holster belt clips over your belt, refasten the waist tab and belt. Then carefully and safely insert your pistol, and cover the holster with your shirt or cover garment. You may need to select shirts and cover garments that help you conceal easily.
If you carry IWB, you need to learn how to draw the pistol from concealment. Make sure to learn how to do so safely and securely. Start slowly and smoothly, and work your way up to being fast. Practicing the draw is a must.
