Hey Everybody!

Here's another track from our new EP 'Folk Christmas Vol.2' available at [ Ссылка ]

We've been secretly itching to cover this song for a few years now, but Mat always vetoed it on the grounds that this is the best Christmas song ever written and therefore nobody's cover could ever do it justice.
Fortunately Soph has perfected the art of not letting it drop and so here is our official attempt to take on this monumental classic, Fairytale Of New York by The Pogues feat. Kirsty MacColl.

It took us absolutely ages to get this one right: There aren't that many chords and each part of the song is relatively similar to the last, but the speed of the changes and the slight variations in chord structure had us tearing out our hair 🤣
We're vaguely aware thart there's been a little bit of controversy about this song in recent years, so we're curious to hear your thoughts on the subject.
