This is the 40th anniversary box set of Queen's 6th studio album "News Of The World". This box set was originally released by EMI/Virgin Records in November 17th, 2017. This Queen box set houses a lot of interesting content inside being:
- Vinyl LP : New pure analog cut straight from the 1/4" mastertapes
- CD 1 : News Of The World 2011 Remaster by Bob Ludwig
- CD 2 : News Of The World - Raw Sessions
- CD 3 : News Of The World - Bonus Tracks
- DVD : The American Dream - Aprox 56. min documentary
- Book : 60 page book with never before seen photographs
- US Press Kit: With various letters to fans, photographs, posters and a newspaper
- Reproduction 1977 USA winter tour, tour laminate
Although this Queen box set came out in 2017, I could still get my hands on it in a record store in 2022. I've seen the box set floating around on numerous record selling websites, so with a little bit of hunting, you could be in luck.
I highly suggest you take a look on how the album cover of News Of The World came to be, it's a rather interesting story on this very creepy yet iconic album cover.
