I hope you guys are hanging in there during these uncertain times. I noticed a lot of my friends and followers on Instagram are curious to know how to make pandesal at home, so I decided to record this video to share with you all too!
Baking pandesal, or baking any bread in general, doesn't have to be a daunting task. It's actually pretty simple, as long as you understand the rules and why you do certain things while baking.
Pandesal can be modified depending on the ingredients that you have in your pantry. The addition of butter, sugar, eggs, and milk are AWESOME to have, but not entirely mandatory to get close to a delicious batch of pandesal at home!
As a child, I ALWAYS ate my pandesal by drowning it in hot chocolate. During my teenage years, I'd eat it with cheese pimiento spread, spam and eggs, or Eden cheese...but as an adult, I've gone back to my old ways :P
